The publishers of Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO), HRO Today, HRO Europe and FAO Today Magazines today announced that Dirk Olin, former National Editor of The American Lawyer, Editor of California Lawyer, and New York Times columnist, is now Vice President and Editorial Director. In this capacity, Olin will lead the company's print and online content efforts.
 

ICS Computing , a U.K.-based provider of payroll outsourcing services, has won a human resource outsourcing (HRO) contract from Victor Chandler International, a Gibraltar-based online gambling company. The duration and financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

TPI and EquaTerra, two of the industry’s leading outsourcing consulting firms, have terminated their merger plan, which was made public late last year and signed in February. The March 10 announcement, which came as a surprise to even some employees of both firms, followed recent disclosure by executives of both companies that it had gone as far as picking out a new name, Veritage, for the merged organization.

ST. LOUIS, MO (April 20, 2005) TALX Corporation (NASDAQ: TALX) today announced the acquisition of Jon-Jay Associates, which specializes in providing unemployment cost management services as well as an employment verification service.

Jon-Jay, headquartered in Boston, had revenues of approximately $8.5 million in 2004 and is expected to be accretive to TALXs fiscal 2006 earnings per share.
